The skin condition rosacea, which affects the face, is common. In the same way that acne causes redness and small bumps on the skin, so does this. Rosacea is frequently diagnosed by the presence of redness. On the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead, it may look like a flush or sunburn. Other symptoms include red or pus-filled bumps, as well as small blood vessels.

Rosacea’s exact cause is unknown, but several factors, including abnormalities in the facial blood vessels and a reaction to microscopic mites commonly found on the face, have been suggested as possible causes. Several triggers that may worsen rosacea have been identified, though they aren’t thought to be the disease’s primary cause.
