    Our medical aesthetician will examine your lower eyelids before administering tear trough fillers to avoid a botched tear trough filler treatment. They’ll also examine the texture and thickness of your skin to determine which filler is ideal for you.

    Here’s what to expect during fillers for under eye:

    To prevent infection, our aesthetician will disinfect the skin and apply a topical anesthetic to the area, or place an ice pack on your lower eyelids. This numbs the area and lowers the chance of bruising.

    They will then prepare a syringe with the filler and inject the filler into the skin beneath your lower eyelid, carefully withdraw the needle, and delicately massage the area to spread the filler.

    Aftercare:

    Once the eye trough filler treatment is completed, you will be able to return home. There will most likely be some swelling, bruising, and redness. These side effects normally go away within 48 to 72 hours.

    The area under your eyes will immediately appear fuller. However, it can take 1 to 2 weeks to get the full results.

    After the treatment, you should

    • Avoid intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours.
    • Apply ice to the treated area for the first 24 hours.
    • Gently massage any lumpy areas with your fingers.
